Non-Surgical Face Lift
What is micro-current?
A Non-Surgical Face Lift, otherwise known as micro-current, is an electrical therapy which produces immediate skin toning and firming effects. It is offered for both face and body and is available as a singular or combined treatment. Micro-current is offered either as a preventive measure against premature ageing or to re-educate and strengthen muscles.
The need for micro-current further arises as we age which prompts cellular degeneration, this results in reduced nutrition which affects our cellar metabolism. Micro-current therapy utilises a low-level electrical current that mirrors the bodies own natural electrical currents to stimulate cell metabolism which improves the movement of materials into and out-of the cells.
Micro-current treatments trigger the body’s production of amino acids and adenosine triphosphste (ATP), which accelerates cell repair and promotes healthier cell production, making it a highly healing, restorative and regenerative treatment.
This treatment enhances the production of natural collagen and elastin, provides circulatory benefits, and re-educates the muscles of the face and body to result in immediate firming, smoothing, and re-hydration of the skin while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Micro-current lifts, sculpts and tightens, provides immediate results, and has no downtime.

What is the body's general response to a non-surgical face lift?

The application of micro-current shortens muscles and displays an improvement in tone.
-
Promotes a 12% increase in collagen production, which plumps the skin and aids in smoothing fine lines and wrinkles.
-
The treatment causes a 500% increase in cellular energy to muscle cells, which helps to tone face and body muscles in addition to lifting the skin.

-
Supports scar repair through faltering scar tissue and remodelling collagen.

Facial Use
Of the 43 facial muscles, 32 different muscles of the face are manipulated during a non-surgical face lift. The treatment employs probes to physically reposition the chosen muscle into the desired situation to perform muscle re-education and strengthening.
Non-Surgical Face Lifts are renowned for promoting the production of collagen, yet they also condition the muscles in the face that atrophy with age. As the muscles are re-educated, the skin moves with them, diminishing fine lines and wrinkles. A non-surgical face lift displays immediate results that work cumulatively over a long term if the client continues to undergo treatments.
